Lamèque is a New Brunswick town that had a population of 1,432 in the 2011 census. It is a Fancophone community in Gloucester County and is located on Lamèque Island, which is off the northeastern tip of the Acadian Peninsula.

 

The main industry here is fishing and peat industries.
